Verse Of The Day

I went there because God revealed to me that I should go...
Galatians 2:2

Thoughts:

Paul's actions were governed by God. Many times in life in life people makes decisions without God and find ourselves in such a mess.Within this verse we see Paul's submission to God's will in his life;this is not a partial submission to certain areas in his life, but to all areas especially his ministry.Paul would not got preach anywhere until God revealed to him that he should go. How many times do we so when God either gives a blatant red light or no light at all. This could be connected to relationships, moving from one place to another or job offers. Before a christian make a decision of any kind whether big or small in his/her life they should consult God and see what kind of light he gives.

The Mysterious Benedict Society

The Mysterious Benedict Society and its sequel The perilous Journey written by Trenton Lee Stewart is a great read for children as well as adults. The first book offers readers a fast pace plot with interesting characters and the following book though slower gives the reader wonderful character developments. The langauge that Mr. Stewart is diverse and well thought. His discription clear, vivid and draws the reader in to the book. The Illustrations complement the book effectively.
Within the second book I was disappointed with the ending. I felt that it ended to quickly and left the reader wanting more and imcomplete. I look forward to reading book three. :)!
