Thank You Lord

Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!  (ESV)

Hello everyone!!! I  have been absent from this blog for a while and apologize to anyone who was following it. The year 2010 has been busy. For  a year my family has been going to a crisis and this month God has given us a victory. I thank God for what he has done for my family. We were worried and suffering because one of us was in a place that was not right, but now that has been resolved. I give God thanks for mercy and enduring faithfulness. TO HIM BE ALL THE GLORY!!!AMEN. May  the Lord give you victory through storms that you are going through.

Sunday School

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you had a blessed Sunday. This is the day that the Lord has made we should rejoice and be glad in it. We should thank the Lord that He has given us the opportunity to worship Him and eat of His word. One of the best places and times to learn of His word is at Sunday School. In Sunday School you are taught the word and you are allowed to question the teacher on what has been taught right there and then. Below are some verses that have been feature in the Sunday School class at my church.
***
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
***
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8 (ESV)
***
Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
1 John 3:18 (ESV)

Verse of the Day

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Proverbs 18:10 (ESV)

Thoughts

Often times in life we are faced with storms and harsh weathers that drives us to seek shelter. God is a Tower that lifts us above the storm and allows us to see the storms from a distance. God is a Tower in which we can go into and seek warmth and refuge. If we put our faith in him and follow the path that He has set, then safety from the harsh weathers of life can be found.
