Sunday School Topic for July 8, 2012

Title:  How can one fully enjoy the goodness of God?

Text to read: Psalms 37: 5-7 ( read the whole Psalm  as well)

Brief Explanation:  To Commit ourselves to the Lord means entrusting  everything: our lives, families, jobs and possessions to His control and guidance. To commit ourselves to the Lord means to trust in Him, believing that he can care for us better than we can care for ourselves. We should be willing to wait patiently for him to work out what is best for us. (please meditate on this explanation and come with questions).

Questions:  Are you actually enjoying the goodness of God?
                    If no, what do you think the problem is?
                    If yes, what strategy have you been using?

    I enjoy the goodness the God. This is because I read the Bible everyday and I talk to God as a friend instead of a distant Being. This keeps our relationship strong.

    I do enjoy the goodness of God. I'm grateful everyday and pray every night. For without him I would not be here.

    Even if I wake up every morning,I eat ,I can walk properly and I can do other stuff properly,i don't think im enjoying the goodness of the LORD, for me to enjoy HIS goodness,I think I would have to put myself in HIS MISTERY,and I would have to take it seriously .
